How to use ProdInra metadata

 

Metadata Policy (for information describing items in the repository)

1. The metadata may be re-used in any medium without prior permission for not-for-profit purposes only, under the restriction :
a link to the original metadata record must be given.

2. The metadata must not be re-used in any medium for commercial purposes without formal permission.

Data Policy (for full-text and other full data items)

1. Users can reproduce, display or perform, give to third parties, and store in a database in any format or medium single copies of full text for personal research or study, educational, or not-for-profit purposes without prior permission or charge, under the following restrictions :

  • Authors, title and full bibliographic details are given
  • An hyperlink and/or URL are given for the original metadata page

2. Retrieving items with full text is possible under administrator's's permission.

3. Full items must not be sold commercially in any format or medium without formal permission of the copyright holders.

4. This repository is not the publisher; it is merely the online archive.

Content Policy (for types of document & data set held)

1. This is an institutional repository.

2. ProdInra holds all types of materials.

3. Papers may include pre-print (ie pre-refereeing), post-print (ie final draft post-refereeing) and published versions

4. Principal Languages: English; French

Submission Policy (concerning depositors, quality & copyright)

1. Items may only be deposited by academic staff, and employees of the institution

2. The administrator only vets items for the eligibility of authors/depositors, valid layout & format

3. The validity and authenticity of the content of submissions is the sole responsibility of the depositor and is not checked by the administrator.

4. Items can be deposited at any time, but will not be made publicly visible until any publishers' or funders' embargo period has expired.

5. Any copyright violations are entirely the responsibility of the authors/depositors.

6. If ProdInra receives proof of copyright violation, the relevant item will be removed immediately.

Preservation Policy

Items will be retained indefinitely.

ProdInra will try to ensure continued readability and accessibility. Items will be migrated to new file formats where necessary.

 

Removal of Outputs

No deletion method for withdrawn items defined.

Items may be removed at the request of the author/copyright holder.

If there are any contractual, ethical or sensitive issues relating to specific publications, which mean they should not be made openly available please contact us so we can try to accommodate your needs.

In case of abuse or copyright appearing without permission please e-mail the administrator who will remove the item from public view whilst the complaint is investigated.
